WickedGayBlog reports that the folks in NOLA are getting upset with all the ‘hysteric’ reporting from other gay blogs about Hurricane Gustav. Its easy to understand why, Decadence is a major boost during the city’s slow season.
I can’t blame them for showing caution. I was scheduled to leave for the festival on Thursday but had to cancel due to family issues. I am not sure if we would have canceled anyway, but I bet we would have left early. If your not there already you probably shouldn’t go.
This really sucks for NOLA’s gay bars and hotels.
